Electronic Assembly Technician

The Electronic Assembly Technician will manufacture, test and calibrate thermal process sensors which include temperature, heat flux, air velocity, and humidity.  Assemble and calibrate data loggers, battery packs and battery chargers.  This individual will be a member of the team manufacturing the SCORPION® data logging system.

Technical Skills needed include:

  • Build all equipment manufactured by RT, including but not limited to Data Loggers, Battery Packs, Air Velocity sensors, Heat Flux sensors, Humidity sensors, R&D sensors, Battery chargers & shipping cases.
  • Perform incoming inspection on incoming inventory and document as required.
  • Solder fine pitch surface mount components, troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCB’s) and perform repair/rework on PCB’s.
  • Inform supervisor of production issues and reoccurring problems with returned products.
